Joseph Callahan, Jr. is a fourth-year student studying broadcast journalism. As an aspiring athlete, Joseph brings his passion for sports into his career as a broadcaster. Even though he specializes in sports, specializing in football, basketball and baseball, he has experience in both on-camera reporting and production.
Hunter Smith is a fourth-year student majoring in photojournalism and international politics. After graduating in the spring, he plans on pursuing a career working in public diplomacy for the US State Department or a role as an international reporter. Hunter’s story in Estonia will cover the causes and consequences of the systemic issue of statelessness amongst Estonia’s Russian-speaking community.
Hannah Markovich is a third-year student studying broadcast journalism as her major and Spanish as her minor. She works with Centre County Report as a news anchor, reporter and producer. She is also involved with PSN News as a news anchor, with 46Live as a host, and with Penn State Homecoming as an emcee. She is excited for everything Estonia has to offer.
Adam Babetski is a senior double majoring in broadcast journalism and medieval history. He is from the only part of Virginia that has no tractors or Southern accents. He also works as an associate editor for Onward State.
Andrew Buckman is a senior broadcast journalism major, with a minor in political science. He is the social media editor for The Daily Collegian, Penn State's student-run newspaper. He is also the president of men's club team handball at Penn State.
Carlos Garcia is a junior from Miami, Florida. He is studying broadcast journalism, with minors in Spanish and sports studies. Carlos has had internship experience with the MLB Network and is a part of the T. Howard Foundation. After graduation, he hopes to be an anchor, reporting on news or sports at a national level.
