Rory Pelella is a senior majoring in digital/print journalism and Spanish. Upon graduating from Penn State, she hopes to attend law school and ultimately pursue a career as a bilingual attorney who fights for human rights – giving a platform and a voice to those who have been historically silenced and disadvantaged.

During her four years in State College, Rory spent some time working for Onward State as both a staff writer and news editor. She’s now writing a thesis focusing on journalism, trauma, and mental health. She looks forward to highlighting other important stories this semester, as a member of the international reporting class.
