Little League baseball was born in Williamsport, Pa and the championship has been held there since 1947, according to the Little League Baseball website. While COVID-19 forced the league to limit attendance it hasn’t stopped the games. Four teams started the weekend of August 28-29, 2021 with a chance at the championship.
Michigan won the championship game Sunday afternoon, defeating Ohio 5-2.
